The Qatar National Robotics Challenge is an advanced robotics competition in which students in grades 8 to 11 design, build, program and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge. The program is designed to encourage interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Using state-of-the-art components and engineering materials, students will compete in teams to operate and test an advanced robot that harvests energy from various renewable energy sources. Participants will also present and defend their designs to a panel of robotics experts.
